Area Sponsors Of Programs For Youth "SPY's"
Corporate Sponsorship Program
The Sunfield Area Sponsors of Programs for Youth are seeking businesses
and individuals interested in establishing a long-term community building
relationship with our organization.
The SPYs are a community service/charitable organization founded in 1975.
We are a Michigan non-profit corporation (#799014), and are a certified
501(c)(3) tax exempt entity (Federal ID# 38-2395822), which means contributions
to the SPY's
are fully tax deductible. Though centered in Sunfield, our membership
encompasses and draws from the surrounding communities and is open to
anyone. We currently have over 75 active members.
The members are engaged in providing the activities necessary to develop
leadership skills, team building, as well as a proper sense of values
in the children of our community. We are concerned, active adults working
towards this united goal. These attributes, properly provided, will repay
the community - its citizens and businesses - manyfold in the future.
To attain the financial goals that enable us to sustain the various youth
activities we provide, the organization holds fund-raisers throughout
the year. Contributions from the membership of time and labor, membership
dues, along with individual monetary donations through the Scholarship
Fund, the Youth Activities Trust Fund, and United Way designations, contribute
to the success of our organization. There are no paid positions within
the organization. All labor is donated. This includes the invaluable
support from spouses and friends.
The money raised by the SPYs is used
for:
• The total underwriting of all costs associated
with every organized youth
sports program provided in the
area - both boys and girls - covering
all age
groups, which includes:
• Softball
• Baseball

Additionally, we provide educational computer software and hardware for
the elementary school, playground equipment, village
parks maintenance
and improvements, college scholarships, sponsorship of the school's "March Is Reading
Month" program, and other community/school needs brought to our
attention and are within our capabilities to meet.
To continue to meet the ever-growing requirements to support the area
youth needs, we are seeking interested businesses and private individuals
willing to partner with us through our "Corporate Sponsor" program.
Your $500 contribution will provide you with the following benefits for
