2010 Adopt-A-Highway Pick-Up Dates Announced
Sunfield Area Sponsors of Programs for Youth Adopt-A-Highway Project Chairman Scott McWhorter has just reported out the three highway trash pick-up dates for the coming season. The SPY's pick-up trash along M-43 from Round Lake Road on the west side of town to Shaytown Road on the east side of town three times a year in conjunction with the Michigan Department of Transportation program. Anyone interested in lending a hand is welcome to participate in helping us keep the area spiffed up. This year’s pick-up dates are:
Saturday, April 17th.
Saturday, July 10th.
Saturday, September 25th.
Please mark these dates on your calendar and plan to help out.
News Briefs
+ HELP WANTED THIS WEEKEND: We are looking for some volunteers to do a shift or two at our upcoming Texas Hold ‘Em event at Trippers in Frandor on Thursday through Sunday, March 11th – 14th. The tasks you will be doing involve selling chips; doing table rakes; and some light paperwork. We only need 2 people per shift to run things. Give our event chairman Sam Coan a call at 566-7182 and let him know you’d like to help.
